About Us
The Outer Northern Trade Training Centre (ONTTC) commenced operations in January 2013. It is a state of the art facility with modern training equipment that reflects the needs of industry. This facility is a real asset to young people in the northern community who are keen to follow trade pathways.
Automotive
This includes a fully equipped workshop which includes following: theory rooms, four hoists, tyre fitting machine, diagnostic tools, disc lathe, wheel balancer and a comprehensive range of general tooling and equipment to meet the needs of the course on offer.
Building and Construction
The construction training area has a generous layout for 20 or more students providing dedicated workbenches, a machine shop complete with thicknesser, table and radial saws. There is an undercover outdoor area that allows the construction of a model house including walls, roofing and subfloor set out. Also there are four model houses that allow the carpentry students to work on windows and doors.
